TULSA, Okla. — The University of Tulsa track and field team will send two small contingencies to California, taking on the Bryan Clay Invitational and the Mt. Sac Relays on Thursday and Friday.

In Azusa, California, at the Bryan Clay Invite, the Golden Hurricane will send five men and five women to take part in the middle distance and distance portions of the meet.

Three more athletes will compete at the Mt. Sac Relays, as Ben Preisner, Peter Lynch and Jenny O'Bryan will all run in different sections of the 10,000 meters on Thursday night.

Tulsa will participate in the men's and women's 800 meters, men's and women's 1,500 meters, women's 3,000-meter steeplechase and men's and women's 5,000 meters at the Bryan Clay. All Tulsa events will run either Thursday or Friday.

Live results will be available for the Bryan Clay Invitational via Finished Results here. Fans can also keep up with the Mt. Sac Relays results here.

In the team's last time out, the Golden Hurricane returned to Fayetteville, Arkansas, for the John McDonnell Invitational. Redshirt-sophomore Carsyn Spurgeon picked up the biggest mark of the weekend, setting the school record in the women's long jump with her wind-legal winning jump of 5.99 meters (19-8 feet).
