American Athletic Conference Announces Women’s Basketball Home and Away Opponents

The American Athletic Conference announced today the home and away opponents for league women's basketball games.
 
The league's 12 members will play a 16-game schedule, playing five of its 11 opponents twice, and six opponents only once.  The six opponents TU will face just once will include three home games and three road contests.
 
The Golden Hurricane will take on ECU, SMU, Temple, Tulane and Wichita State in both home and away contests, while also hosting Houston, UCF and USF.  TU will travel to Cincinnati, Memphis and UConn to face those three teams in road games only. 
 
Five American Athletic Conference teams – UConn, UCF, Cincinnati, Houston and USF – reached the postseason in 2018-19, highlighted by UConn's 12th-straight Final Four appearance.
 
The complete 2019-20 women's basketball schedule will be announced in September.
