Tulsa Men's Tennis Opens Fall Competition at Silverado Invitational

TULSA, Okla. - The Tulsa men's tennis opens its fall schedule on Friday, Sept. 13, as the Golden Hurricane travel to California to compete at the Silverado Invitational. The three-day tournament will be played at the Silverado Resort and Spa in Napa.

The Golden Hurricane will feature four returning athletes at the event. Junior Boriss Kamdem will make the trip out west, alongside sophomores Stefan Hampe, Daniel Siddall, and Tom Thelwall-Jones.

Last season, Kamdem went 14-15 overall, playing the majority of his matches and No. 5 and No. 6 singles. Hampe finished the year at 14-7 overall and in American Athletic Conference play. Hampe primarily played at No. 5 singles, posting an 8-3 mark. Siddall capped off his freshman campaign going 11-12, primarily playing at No. 6. Thelwall-Jones concluded his freshman season at 7-9 overall.
