
Tulsa Men’s Soccer Team Opens Conference Play Against #4 SMU

The Tulsa men's soccer team will open American Athletic Conference play with a home game against #4 SMU on Saturday, September 28 beginning at 7:00 pm at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium.
Tickets are $5 general admission and can be purchased at the north ticket gate, online at TulsaHurricane.com/tickets or by calling the TU Athletic Ticket Office at 918.631.4688.
Fans unable to attend the match in person can watch it live on TulsaHurricane.com/watch. There is a 24HR Pass, a Monthly Pass and Yearly Pass that allow you to watch all TU home men's and women's soccer, volleyball and softball games depending on the package purchased.
Tulsa has scored 12 goals this season, including a team-best three goals by Harris Partain, and one each by nine other players. Bryson Reed has logged 270 minutes in goal, picked up 11 saves, earned one shutout and has a 1.00 goals-against average, while Brady Moody has played 380 minutes between the posts, has 14 saves and has a 1.66 GAA.
SMU has a 7-0 mark on the season, and are ranked No. 4 in the Top Drawer Soccer poll, and No. 8 in both the United Soccer Coaches and College Soccer News polls. Garrett McLaughlin has a team-high six goals, while Eddie Munjoma has added five goals, and Knut Ahlander has a team-best five assists.
The Mustangs have a 30-11-4 lead in the series with Tulsa, including a 1-0 win last year.
