Tulsa-SMU Game Time on Feb. 22 Changes to 2 PM

It’s Legends Day and Retirement of Bobby “Bingo” Smith Jersey No. 32
TULSA, Okla. –– The tip-off time for the Tulsa men's basketball game against the SMU Mustangs on Saturday, Feb. 22 has been changed to 2:00 p.m. (CT) from the original start time of 5:00 p.m. The game will now air on ESPNews instead of the original broadcast on ESPNU.
The Tulsa-SMU game is also "Legends Day" as the 2000 NCAA "Elite Eight" team will be specially recognized on its 20th anniversary.
One of the most decorated players in the history of the Tulsa basketball program, Bobby "Bingo" Smith (1965-69), will have his Golden Hurricane jersey "No. 32" retired in a halftime ceremony during the contest.
Tulsa is just one of two American Athletic Conference teams with just one loss at 6-1 and an overall 14-6 record, while SMU is 15-5 and 5-3 in AAC play.
