Tulsa Opens the Spring Season Monday
TULSA, Okla. — The University of Tulsa women's golf team opens the spring season at the one-day, 36-hole SMU/DAC Invitational, Monday, Feb. 5, at the Dallas Athletic Club golf course.
The Tulsa golfers played in five fall tournaments and turned in their best performance at the Marilynn Smith/Sunflower Invitational with a 3rd place finish. The SMU/DAC Invitational is the first of six spring tournaments for the Golden Hurricane.
Sophomore Lorena Tseng leads the Hurricane golfers. Tseng is off to another solid start after turning in four top-10 performances in the fall season. A year ago, the freshman sensation had seven top-10 performances and tallied a 72.1 stroke average as a rookie, a school record for a freshman.
