TULSA, Okla. - Tulsa track and field head coach Steve Gulley will send a select group of competitors to the Arkansas Qualifier on Friday in Fayetteville. This will be the final chance for the Golden Hurricane to better their overall times and marks during the indoor season, as the American Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships are scheduled for next weekend in Birmingham, Alabama.

A total of 14 Hurricane are set to compete on Friday. Last weekend, Tulsa was represented at the Iowa State Classic and the Fifth Annual Indoor Gorilla Classic, hosted by Pittsburg State. In total, the team combined for nearly 30 personal-bests in their respective events.

The Arkansas Qualifier gets underway with the men's shot put at 1:45 p.m., while the women will start with the pole vault. Running events are set for a 4:30 p.m. start, beginning with the preliminary round of the men's 60-meter hurdles. The women will follow the men and run at approximately 4:45 p.m.
