Catching up with Softball's All-Time Team Member: Katie Torres

Tulsa Softball fans have voted and selected the starting lineup for the Hurricane All-Time Team. Each week we highlight the starting lineup with this week being former Golden Hurricane Katie Torres.
Torres was a four-year letterwinner and starter, who played in and started all 238 career games in her career. She accumulated 204 hits, 113 RBI and 37 home runs in her career. Torres is fourth All-Time for career home runs with 37. She holds the school record for walks drawn in a career with 133 and career putouts with 1,641. The former first baseman had more walks during her career than strikeouts (133-115). She became the first TU player to earn all-conference honors four consecutive years. Her honors include 1st Team All-Conference USA, 1st Team All-Western Athletic Conference and two-time 2nd Team All-WAC. She was a two-time NFCA All-Region selection.
