Tulsa Signs Vanja Bogdanovic for 2021 Class

Tulsa rowing signed Vanja Bogdanovic for the 2021-22 signing class, as announced today by head coach Kevin Harris.

"Vanja is wonderful young rower who I am pleased to see headed to Tulsa," Harris said. "She is a very talented young woman who managed to nail her training in a year that has been marred by a pandemic. Kerry Hassall and I were struck by the way she recruited herself to Tulsa and made it clear that she is someone we needed. I think Vanja is going to fit in well with our team culture and I am looking forward to seeing her in boats next fall."

Bogdanovic, a 5-4 rower from Belgrade, Serbia, rows for the Partizan Rowing Club. Her club team was the best in the country in 2016, 2017, 2019 and 2020, and finished second in 2018. Throughout the last four years, she has raced in the Single, Pair, Double, Quad and Eight boats.

Bogdanovic is an accomplished junior sculler who helped her Junior Quad win the Serbian National Championship in 2018 and finished third in 2020. She has also placed highly in regional regattas such as the Belgrade International and the Serbian Cup.
