Tulsa Men’s Tennis Team Takes Down Omaha 6-1

TULSA, Okla. –– The Tulsa Golden Hurricane men's tennis team made it a three-match weekend sweep on Sunday afternoon with a 6-1 victory over Omaha. Tulsa improved its season record to 3-2.
The nation's 29th-ranked team of Connor Di Marco and Kody Pearson made quick work of its doubles opponent 6-2, while the tandem of Boriss Kamdem and Thomas Thelwall-Jones clinched the doubles point for the Hurricane with a 6-4 win at the No. 2 slot.
Pearson put Tulsa up 2-0 with a win at the No. 1 singles spot. Wins at No. 2 by Ezequiel Santalla and Connor Di Marco at the No. 3 position sealed the victory for the Hurricane. Santalla won by scores of 6-2 and 6-1, while Di Marco's clinching match came by scores of 6-1, 6-3.
Daniel Siddall also captured a singles win at the No. 6 spot by 7-5 and 6-1 scores.
Juan Pablo Cenoz gave Tulsa its sixth win in the match with a quick 6-0 first set victory. Trailing 3-1 and 5-3 in the second set, Cenoz won the final four games to claim a 7-5 win at the No. 5 singles position.
