Tulsa in 8th Place at Jim West Challenge

SAN MARCOS, Texas –– The Tulsa women's golf team sits in eighth place following two rounds Sunday at the Jim West Challenge. The Hurricane carded rounds of 293 and 282 for a 1-under par score of 575 at the par 72 Kissing Tree Golf Club.

Tulsa junior Lilly Thomas turned in a 2-under par 142 score for 16^th place after the first 36 holes, carding rounds of 1-over par 73 on the first 18 holes and a 3-under par score of 69 in second round action. Freshman Sydney Seigel is one stroke back in 20^th place with rounds of 71 and 72 for a 1-under par total of 143

Sophomore Titita Loudtragulngam is in 36th place with a 2-over par score of 146 after shooting identical rounds of 73.

Seniors Lorena Tseng and Haley Greb turned in solid second rounds. Tseng shot 71 in the afternoon and Greb carded a round of 70, tying for 45th place with 3-over par scores of 147.

Oklahoma State leads the field with a 29-under par score of 547, followed by TCU (557), Florida State (561), Texas Tech (567) and Miami (568) rounding out the top-5 teams.

The final round will tee-off at 8:30 a.m. on Monday.
