Tulsa Women’s Tennis Set to Compete at ITA Central Regional Championship in Iowa

TULSA, Okla. ― The Tulsa women's tennis team is set to compete at the ITA Division I Women's Central Regional Championship, held at the University of Iowa from October 21-25.
Tulsa will send its complete roster to compete in both the singles and doubles matches. A total of 28 teams will be represented.
Laia Conde Monfort, Lian Benedejcic, Shura Poppe, Maria Berlanga Bandera, Leonor Peralta Dias de Oliveira, Valeryia Rozenkova and Ana Naranjo Martinez are all in the singles main draw, while Lily Hutchings will compete for one of four available main draw spots in the qualifying draw.
In the doubles main draw, the duo of Hutchings/Naranjo, who took first at the HEB Invitational earlier this month. Also competing in Iowa City are the pairings of Monfort/Poppe, Rozenkova/Berlanga, and Benedejcic/Oliveira.
Hutchings will face off against Bradley's Marjanovic at 10:15 am in the singles qualifiers, while all four doubles teams have a first round bye.
