Tulsa Women’s Tennis Records Successful Opening Day at ITA Central Regionals

IOWA CITY, Iowa ― The Tulsa women's team had three doubles teams as well as Lily Hutchings all advanced during the first day of the ITA Division I Women's Central Regional Championship, hosted at the University of Iowa.
Hutchings, who competed in the qualifying today, beat Bradley's Nina Marjanovic 6-3, 6-4, before downing North Dakota's Andrea Jansson 6-2, 6-1. Hutchings will face off against SEMO's Myroslava Zelenchuk tomorrow.
The duos of Rozenkova/Berlanga, Conde Monfort/Poppe, and Benedejcic/Oliveira all advanced in the doubles bracket today, advancing to the round of 32. All three doubles teams will play at 8:45 am tomorrow.
