Hampe, Santalla Advance in ITA Central Regional Men’s Open Singles Bracket

LINCOLN, Neb. ― Tulsa's Stefan Hampe and Ezequiel Santalla both advanced on the first day of the ITA Division I Men's Central Regional Championship, hosted at the University of Nebraska.
Hampe defeated Denver's Matija Matic 6-2, 6-3 in the morning before downing Oklahoma's Nathan Han 7-5, 6-2. Hampe will take on Oklahoma State's Leighton Allen at 11 am in the round of 32.
Santalla started with a bye in the morning, then came from behind to knock off Arkansas's Jake Sweeney 1-6, 6-1, 7-5. Santalla will match up against Oklahoma State's Luke Hammond, who knocked off Connor Di Marco earlier today, at 11 am.
