Tulsa’s Alex Meinhard Named to Top Drawer Soccer Team of the Week

Tulsa men's soccer player Alex Meinhard was named to the Top Drawer Soccer Team of the Week.

Meinhard, a sophomore forward from Tartu, Estonia, had two goals and an assist on the week. With just 7.4 seconds remaining in the second overtime period against SMU, Meinhard drilled in a rebound attempt to give Tulsa's fourth-ranked men's soccer team a 2-1 double overtime win over sixth-ranked SMU. Meinhard's first goal of the contest was the equalizer in the 35th minute. Meinhard also picked up an assist in Tulsa's 4-0 win against South Florida.

This was the first weekly national accolade for Meinhard this season and fifth overall for the Tulsa men's soccer team on the year.
