Tulsa Cross Country Teams Run in Midwest Regional Friday in Iowa City

TULSA, Okla. –– The University of Tulsa men's and women's cross-country teams are in Iowa City, Iowa to compete in the NCAA Midwest Regional on Friday, Nov. 12.
The Golden Hurricane swept the American Athletic Conference Championships on Oct. 29 in Lakeland, Fla. and now the men and women have their sights on grabbing an automatic bid to the NCAA Championships.
The men come into the race as the 10th-ranked team nationally and run their 10K race at noon, while the women get things started at 11 a.m.
The previous Midwest Regional was held in 2019 in Stillwater, Okla., with both the men and women having historic races. The men won the Midwest Regional for the first time in program history, while the women placed second, their best-ever finish.
