Tulsa Rowing Kicks Off 2021 Campaign at Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational

After missing the spring and fall 2020 seasons, the Tulsa rowing team returns to the water this weekend, March 13-14, after 16 months to compete at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational at Melton Lake in Oak Ridge, Tenn.
"We are all really glad that we are back at the point where our season ended in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic," Head Coach Kevin Harris said. "Our team has done a really wonderful job of following protocols and staying healthy. They have been laser focused on doing the right things so we can have a spring season. I am really proud of the effort the whole team has put in and we are looking forward to getting on the water against some top-20 competition. I am looking forward to seeing us race this weekend and showing what we've been working on these last 16 months."
The Golden Hurricane is slated to race against #16 Alabama and Minnesota on Saturday morning, Clemson and #20 SMU on Saturday afternoon, and Notre Dame and #12 Wisconsin on Sunday morning.
