Tulsa’s 2V8 Highlights Dale England Cup

UNIONVILLE, Ind. — The Tulsa rowers concluded their 2026 regular season Saturday at Indiana's Dale England Cup, highlighted by a photo finish from the Golden Hurricane's 2^nd Varsity Eight.

Tulsa's 2v8+ (6:53.3) earned the Golden Hurricane's only silver of the day, beating Michigan State (6:53.6) by just three-tenths of a second. Coxing the crew was senior Anna Lackner, who once beat Indiana and Minnesota on the same course as a freshman three years ago as part of TU's 2v4+ boat.

Pushing Tulsa's 2v8+ vessel to second place was Ella Abraham, Maddie Grainger, Linzi Foutch, Mollie Pearce, Eva Martinez, Hela Belhadj Mohamed, Taylor Korb and Selena Hescock.

The hosting Hoosiers won nearly every race on their senior day as the nation's 24^th-ranked program, taking home the event's trophy.

With the regular season in the rearview mirror, the Golden Hurricane look ahead to the Big 12 Championship, set for May 17, in Sarasota, Fla.
