Tulsa rowing head coach Kevin Harris sat down with Bruce Howard to recap the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational.  
 
The Tulsa rowers returned to action for the first time in over 17 months and took on a big challenge at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational, facing #12 Wisconsin, #16 Alabama, Minnesota and Tennessee which were both receiving votes, as well as Clemson and Notre Dame at Melton Lake in Oak Ridge, Tenn.

In the first set of races, TU faced Alabama and Minnesota. The Crimson Tide earned first-place marks in all four races (V4+, 2V4+, V8+ and 2V8+), while TU was second in three of the races, and finished third in the Varsity 4+.

Tulsa raced Tennessee and Clemson in the second set of races, with the Volunteers claiming top marks in all four races, while TU was second in the Varsity 8+ and 2nd Varsity 4+, and third in the 2nd Varsity 8+ and Varsity 4+ events.

In the third and final set of races, the Hurricane faced Wisconsin and Notre Dame.  TU earned a second-place finish in the 2nd Varsity 8+, but was third in the other three races.
