
Tulsa Men’s Tennis Falls at USF 4-1

TAMPA, Fla. –– The 38th-ranked Tulsa Golden Hurricane men's tennis team fell 4-1 to the No. 37 USF Bulls on Sunday morning at the USF Varsity Tennis Courts in Tampa, Fla. The Hurricane fell to 11-10 on the season, while the Bulls improved to 14-8.
The Hurricane took a 1-0 lead by capturing the doubles point with wins by the team of Daniel Siddall and Tom Thelwall Jones at the No. 2 spot, 6-3, and the No. 3 team of Ezequiel Santalla and Juan Pablo Cenoz with a 6-4 win.
USF clinched the match with four straight singles wins, claiming the victories at the No. 3, No. 6, No. 2 and No. 1 positions.
Tulsa faces the nation's No. 11-ranked UCF Knights on Tuesday at 4 p.m. (CT) before beginning play in the American Athletic Conference Championship, April 23-25, in Orlando, Fla.
