
Tulsa’s Men’s Tennis Team Earns Academic Excellence Award in The American

IRVING, Texas –– The University of Tulsa's men's tennis team was one of a league-high seven Golden Hurricane teams that earned the American Athletic Conference's Team Academic Excellence Award for the 2020-21 academic year.
The Tulsa men's tennis team had a cumulative 3.601 grade point average this past year.
In addition to men's tennis, Tulsa's women's basketball, men's indoor track & field, men's soccer, softball, men's outdoor track & field and women's volleyball were also honored with the league's Academic Excellence Award.
The Team Academic Excellence Award is awarded to the institution in each conference-sponsored sport with the highest cumulative grade point average for the year. Cincinnati was second to Tulsa for teams honored this season with a total of six and the next closest was Temple and Tulane with three each.
