Tulsa Men’s Tennis Wraps Up Oklahoma State Invite

STILLWATER, Okla. ― The Tulsa men's tennis team wrapped up their first action of the 2021 fall season, competing against Nebraska, Wichita State, and Oklahoma State at the Oklahoma State Invite.

DAY 2 – SATURDAY

Tulsa went 2-1 in the doubles portion of Saturday, as the duos of Stefan Hampe/Callum Gale and Adham Gaber/Connor Di Marco both won their respective matches against Oklahoma State. Against Nebraska in the singles matches, the Golden Hurricane went 3-3, as Hampe defeated Sunya Maruyama 7-6, 6-2, 6-2, Santalla defeated Hietaranta 7-5, 6-4, while Gaber defeated Calvin Mueller 6-2, 7-6.

DAY 3 – SUNDAY

On the final day of the Oklahoma State Invite, Tulsa faced off against Wichita State in doubles matches, as Hampe/Gale defeated Ovil/Mrsic 8-7 while Gaber/Di Marco defeated Latinovic/Lin 8-1. Tulsa then would secure three singles match wins over Oklahoma State, as Hampe defeated Luke Hammond 7-6, 3-6, 7-6, Santalla defeated Francisco Pini 7-6, 7-5 and Di Marco defeated Sammr Raina 6-0, 6-1.
