Hampe, Gaber-Santalla Duo Advance In Main Draws of ITA All-Americans

TULSA, Okla. — Senior Stefan Hampe and senior doubles tandem Adham Gaber and Ezequiel Santalla of The University of Tulsa men's tennis team all won their Main Draw matches Wednesday during the ITA Men's All-American Championships at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
 
Hampe came back from behind to win 1-6, 6-4, 6-1 over Utah opponent Franco Capalbo. He will play against Luc Fomba of TCU in the round of 32 on Thursday.
 
Gaber and Santalla battled to a three-set victory (6-4, 1-6, 10-7) over Joshua Charlton and Quinn Vandecasteele of Oregon. The duo will move on to face Adam Neff and Pranav Kumar of SMU in the round of 16 on Thursday.
 
Senior Connor Di Marco will play in a consolation match on Thursday after falling 6-1, 6-4 to Texas opponent Eliot Spizzirri.
 
All Thursday match times will be posted Wednesday night on the official tournament page on the ITA website.
