Tulsa's 10th-ranked men's soccer team dropped a 2-1 decision to South Florida on Sunday night at the Corbett Soccer Stadium in Tampa, Fla. The Golden Hurricane fell to 6-2-2 on the season and 2-2-1 in American Athletic Conference play, while the Bulls moved to 3-3-3 overall and 2-0-2 in the league.
Tulsa will return to action on Saturday, October 15 against Memphis beginning at 7:00 pm at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium.
How it Happened
Sergio Baena played a ball into the box which Malik Henry-Scott controlled and then shot it off his left foot from the right side of the box into the lower left corner to put Tulsa up 1-0 at the 67:40 mark.
South Florida evened the scored on a penalty kick taken by Alfred Perez in the 73rd minute, and then took the lead on goal by Segun Afolabi in the 81st minute.
