The Tulsa men's soccer team earned a No. 15 seed and a first round bye in the NCAA Championship and will host the second round game on Sunday, November 20 at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium.
"The reaction of the team is just excited for the opportunity to compete," Head Coach Tom McIntosh said. "We just wanted to compete and now we have the opportunity to doing that. I think the combination of our strength of schedule and the strength of our league helped us get a first round bye and we are excited to be playing."
TU will take on the winner of the Georgetown (11-5-3) and Navy (7-4-9) game, which is slated for Thursday, November 17 in Washington, D.C.

This will be Tulsa's 13th appearance in the tournament. TU has a 10-11-2 mark in the NCAA tournament, making quarterfinal appearance in 2004 and 2009.
