
Tulsa Men’s Soccer Team Hosts Creighton in NCAA Third Round Contest on Saturday

Tulsa's 14th-ranked and 15th-seeded men's soccer team will play host to 17th-ranked Creighton in the NCAA Championship Third Round on Saturday, November 26 beginning at 6:00 pm at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium.
Tickets are $8 general admission, $3 for youth (3-12 years of age) and $5 for groups of 15+. Tickets can be purchased at the north ticket gate, online at TulsaHurricane.com/tickets or by calling the TU Athletic Ticket Office at 918.631.4688.
Fans unable to attend the match in person can watch it live on ESPN+. TU fans can subscribe to ESPN+ to watch select Golden Hurricane basketball, soccer, softball and volleyball games. Tulsa has a 10-4-2 mark on the season, including a 2-0 win over #10 Charlotte, a 3-0 win over #11 Missouri State, a 1-0 win over #14 Georgetown and a 1-1 tie with #3 Kentucky. Alex Meinhard has team-bests of nine goals, five assists and 23 points on the season, while Malik Henry-Scott adds six goals and 11 others have at least one score. Alex Lopez has logged 1,210 minutes in goal, picked up 41 saves and allowed 14 goals for a 1.04 GAA, while Cedrik Stern has played 270 minutes between the posts, recorded six saves and two clean sheets.
Creighton has an 11-4-6 overall mark on the season, including a 3-3-4 mark in the BIG EAST, and are coming off a 3-1 win over #1 Washington in the NCAA Second Round and a 2-1 victory over #23 Missouri State in the First Round. Duncan McGuire has a team-leading 21 goals on the season, while Jackson Castro adds nine and Owen O'Malley has eight. Eight other Bluejays have at least one goal. Giorgio Probo has a team-high 12 assists and Castro adds eight. Paul Kruse has played the majority of minutes in goal, picking up 63 saves for a 0.700 saves percentage and three clean sheets, while allowing 27 goals for a 1.34 GAA.
Creighton has a 20-12-3 lead in the all-time series, but it was Tulsa that ended the Bluejays season last year with a 1-0 win in the NCAA Second Round.
