Tulsa's sixth-ranked men's soccer team dropped a 2-1 decision in overtime to Memphis in the American Athletic Conference Championship quarterfinals on Sunday night at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium. The Golden Hurricane fell to 9-4-2 on the season, while the Tigers moved to 9-4-4 overall.

How it Happened
Alex Meinhard scored his ninth goal on the season as he punched in a cross taken by Mitchell Cashion. He put TU on the board at the 21:59 mark as he shot from 22 yards out from the center of the box to the lower left corner of the goal. The Golden Hurricane maintained that 1-0 lead at the break.

Alberto Cruz evened the score at the 49:32 mark as he punched in a penalty kick into the lower left corner and the two teams battled to the end of regulation still tied.

Lineker Rodrigues dos Santos scored on a combination from Emanuel Santos to Hayden Anderson in the 99^th minute, but this season "Golden Goal" was eliminated so the teams played the last 88 seconds of the first overtime as well as the second 10-minute overtime period before the Tigers could claim the victory.
