Tulsa’s Poindexter Earns Eighth AAC Freshman of the Week Honor

Tulsa women's basketball player Temira Poindexter was named the American Athletic Conference Freshman of the Week, as announced today by the league office.  This was Poindexter's eighth accolade on the season.
 
Poindexter recorded team highs of six assists and two blocks, while adding nine points, four rebounds and two steals to help Tulsa earn a win over Wichita State last week. She shot 50-percent from the field while playing 27 minutes of the contest.
