
TU Hall of Fame Weekend Approaching, April 8-9

Blue & Gold Gala, Spring Game, Hall of Fame Dinner scheduled for the weekend
TULSA, Okla. –– The University of Tulsa's Hall of Fame Weekend is set for Friday-Saturday, April 8-9, on the TU campus.
The weekend kicks off with the first-ever Blue & Gold Gala on Friday night, featuring an evening of Las Vegas-style gaming, a live auction, raffles, live music and plenty of food & drink (Attire is Business Casual). The Blue & Gold Gala takes place at the Donald W. Reynolds Center with a cost of $25 per person.
The Live Auction items are:
- Ole Miss Football Trip
- U.S. Naval Academy Football Trip
- 3-day, 2-night stay at the Westbrook Ranch
- Handmade TU Quilt, made by Ashli Montgomery
- Live Buffalo Painting by Chris Mantle
The Football Spring Game is set for Saturday morning at 11:30 a.m. at H.A. Chapman Stadium. The Golden Hurricane football team will complete its 15-day spring season with the annual game. There is no admission charge to the Spring Game.
Later Saturday night, a new Hall of Fame class will be inducted into the TU Athletic Hall of Fame with the dinner and ceremony beginning at 6 p.m. at the Reynolds Center.
Olympic rower Michelle Sechser, National Champion track star Chris O'Hare, All-America soccer player Ryan Pore, MVC Football Offensive Player of the Year Jeb Blount, basketball coach Tubby Smith are this year's Hall of Fame Class, while the 1971 College World Series Baseball Team is the Hall of Fame Honor Team.
Cost for the Hall of Fame Dinner is $50 per person. Tickets for both the Blue & Gold Gala and Hall of Fame Dinner can be purchased for $65.
