Tulsa to Start Outdoor Season Across Town at ORU Invitational

TULSA, Okla. – The Tulsa track and field team will begin the 2022 outdoor season Friday at the Oral Roberts Invitational.
The two-day meet will take place at the OneOk Sports Complex starting at 2 p.m., with running events beginning at 4 p.m.
The Hurricane completed the 2021-22 indoor season at the 2022 AAC Indoor Championships in Birmingham, Alabama on February 26. The Tulsa women's team took third while the men's team finished in fourth.
Tulsa finished the AAC Indoor Championships with six first-place finishes, and three meet records. Isaac Akers, Scott Beattie, Chloe Hershenow, Katharina Pesendorfer and the distance medley relay team of Shay McEvoy, Henry Visser, Akers and Michael Power all were crowned conference champions in each of their respective events.
