Tulsa Collects Eight Top-5 Finishes to Close Sooner Invitational & Multis

2022 Sooner Invite Complete Results

NORMAN, Okla. – Henry Visser and the women's 4x400-meter relay team of Jaidyn McCallon, Jayda Gibson, Jaidah McCallon, and Elizabeth Roca claimed first place finishes, while Tulsa tallied eight top-5 finishes on the final day of the Sooner Invitational & Multis.

Visser claimed his second 400-meter hurdles win of the season after taking first at the Oral Roberts Invitational. Visser finished at 52.75, ahead of teammate Emmanuel Okwuone at 55.13 who finished fifth.

Evan Sanni-Thomas placed second in the 400-meter dash at 47.91, while the 4x400-meter relay team of Visser, Kyran Lacy, Daryl Turner, and Okwuone finished 6^th.

On the women's side, Jaidah McCallon finished second in the 800-meter run at 2:08.83, while Anna Mager's time of 1:01.88 put her in third. Tulsa finished 6^th, 7^th, 8^th in the 400-meter dash, as Gibson, Roca, and Jaidyn McCallon all finished in the top-10. Cara Johnson also posted a top-10 finish in the 200-meter dash. In the 1,500-meter, Soler finished in fourth while Robyn Kowalski finished 7^th at 4:52.07.

Tulsa will return to Norman next weekend for the John Jacob's Invitational.
