Tulsa Men’s Soccer Adds Three to Staff

The University of Tulsa men's soccer head coach Tom McIntosh named Raudel Fierro-Perez as director of operations, while Ray Saari and Brady Moody will serve as volunteer assistants for the men's soccer team.

Fierro-Perez became a volunteer assistant with the Tulsa men's soccer program prior to the 2020 season and is in his third year overall with the program. He previously served as the Key City Soccer Association's Director of Coaching for three years (2017-20) where he was responsible for the entire business operation, while overseeing the coaching structure of the club for over 200 kids.

"I'm pleased to add Raudel as our Director of Operations," McIntosh said. "He has done a great job as our volunteer coach since 2020 and I know he will thrive in his role as director of operations. In addition to his administrative functions for our program, he has served on TU's diversity and inclusion committee and positively impacted both our campus and community."

A four-year letterwinner at TU (2013-16), Saari started in 53 of 69 games played and had 12 goals and 12 assists for 36 points. He was a two-time American Athletic Conference all-conference second team selection, was tabbed to The American all-tournament team as a senior and picked up NSCAA NCAA Division I Men's All-East Region first team accolades in 2016.

"Ray joined us after finishing his professional career with the Oklahoma City Energy of the USL Championship," McIntosh said. "He is back finishing his undergraduate degree and we are excited about the wealth of knowledge he brings as a former Tulsa player and professional. He has been an excellent mentor and is instrumental in our player development."

Moody was a member of the Tulsa men's soccer team for four years (2018-21). He logged 493 minutes between the posts and picked up 19 saves.

"Brady finished his playing career last season with us and is joining our staff as the goalkeeper coach," McIntosh said. "Brady is an excellent teacher and has a passion for coaching. I am confident in his ability to collaboratively work with our goalkeepers and continue their development."
