Golden Moments in Tulsa History

Forty years ago, the Tulsa women's golf team made history by becoming the only team to win two national championships in the same year. In just 10 years after Title IX became law, Tulsa set the standard in women's golf. In 1982, the Golden Hurricane women won the first-ever NCAA Championship with a 36-stroke victory in May and a month later closed out the Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women by capturing a three-stroke victory at the final AIAW championship.

Watch HERE as the Tulsa women golfers make history in the early stages of Title IX.
