TULSA, Okla. -- Tulsa and Central Methodist played to a 0-0 draw Friday (Aug. 19) at home at the Hurricane Soccer & Track Stadium.
"Overall, the preseason has been good," Head Coach Tom McIntosh said. "Tonight, we did a decent job in the buildup, but once we got into the final third our individual play was poor. For the most part we built up the ball well, they tried to press us, and our guys did a good job of dealing with that, we defended set pieces well, but we have to be better with our decision making in the attacking third because that is where it broke down. Central Methodist did a good job defensively, so it was a good challenge tonight."

Tulsa recorded five shots in the scoreless tie, three of them on goal. The Golden Hurricane held Central Methodist to only five shots with just two shots on goal. Alex Lopez and Cedrik Stern both had one save.
