Madison Tokarchik scored the lone goal to give the Tulsa women's soccer team a 1-0 win over Central Arkansas on Thursday night at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium. The Golden Hurricane moved to 3-1-1 on the season, while the Bears fell to 1-3-1 overall.

"I thought in the first 10 minutes we could have scored three times and it would have been a completely different game, it would have been something we could have strolled through but not being as clinical in the final third caused us to be in a dog fight the entire game and Central Arkansas was up for the fight," Head Coach Jim Rhein said.

Tulsa will return to action against Creighton on Sunday, September 4 beginning at 1:00 pm in Omaha, Neb.

How It Happened:
Tokarchik's goal came at the 48:45 mark as she drilled in a shot off a pass from Emilie Torres. This was Tokarchik's fourth goal in five games to start the season.

Liliana Fernandez and Madison Tokarchik both had a team-best four shots, while Karsen Aguirre, Quinn Turner and Jordan Frederick all had three attempts
Kylie Koeijmans logged all 90 minutes in goal and picked up three saves
