Tulsa Women See Strong Results Through Two Days of Tulsa Invitational

TULSA, Okla. — The University of Tulsa women's tennis team totaled 17 individual wins through the first two days of The Tulsa Invitational at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
On Friday, the Hurricane opened the tournament with seven singles wins and went undefeated in four doubles matches.
Tulsa added five more singles wins, and a doubles win from Amy Leather and Oleksandra Nahurska on Saturday.
Nahurska begins the fall season 2-0 in both singles and doubles play after winning all her matches in the tournament so far. She defeated Tiffani Nash of LA Tech 6-1, 6-3 on Friday and took down NAU's Laura Duhl 6-2, 6-2 on Saturday.
She and doubles partner Leather prevailed 7-6 (7-3) over NAU duo Sophia Markova and Daryna Shoshyna and 6-3 against Whitney Robbins and Morgan McCarthy of Arkansas.
The Hurricane will wrap up the Tulsa Invitational tomorrow, Sept. 25, starting at 9:30 a.m.
