Tulsa's 10th-ranked men's soccer team battled UAB to a 0-0 tie on Friday night at PNC Field in Birmingham, Ala.  The Golden Hurricane moved to 5-1-2 on the season and 1-1-1 in American Athletic Conference play, while the Blazers moved to 2-6-1 overall and 0-2-1 in the league.

"We were good defensively, held them to four shots and didn't give good chances away," Head Coach Tom McIntosh said.  "We just weren't good enough in the final third and we didn't finish our chances when we needed to tonight.  Unfortunately, some nights are like this, but we have to get better."

Tulsa will return to action on Wednesday, October 5 against FAU beginning at 7:00 pm at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium.
