DALLAS, Texas –– The Tulsa women's golf team is back in action at the Trinity Forest Invitational, Monday-Tuesday, March 6-7, on the par-72 Trinity Forest Club course in Dallas, Texas.
Joining Tulsa in the 16-team tournament is four American Athletic Conference members including Houston, South Florida, Tulane and host SMU. Other teams in the field include Baylor, Cal Poly, Dallas Baptist, Fresno State, Incarnate Word, Kent State, Seattle, Southern Miss, Texas State, UAB and UTSA.
Tulsa will go into the tournament with a team of senior Lilly Thomas, sophomores Sydney Seigel and Lovisa Gunnar and freshmen Grace Kilcrease and Jenni Roller.
A year ago, Tulsa finished in second place at the Trinity Forest Invitational, while Gunnar claimed the individual title with rounds of 72-70-74 for an even-par 216 total. Thomas had a 24th place performance.
The first two rounds will be played on Monday with the final 18 holes set for Tuesday beginning with an 8 a.m. shotgun start.
