Tulsa's Jordan Frederick scored in the 65^th minute, but it wasn't enough as TU dropped a 3-1 decision to Missouri State on Sunday afternoon. The Golden Hurricane fell to 0-6 on the season, while Missouri State moved to 4-0-2 overall.

Tulsa will return to action on Thursday, September 3 against UTEP beginning at7:00 pm at the Hurricane Soccer Stadium.

How it Happened
Hailey Chambliss gave Missouri State an early lead as she punched in a score from a yard out into the lower left corner off a pass from Julia Kristensen at the 9:57 mark.

At the 33:01 mark, Gracie English picked up a pass, drove up the field 10 yards and then shot the ball into the right post and it ricocheted into the left corner to put the Bears up 2-0.

Jordan Frederick got one back for TU in the 65^th minute as she flicked the ball into the lower left corner from a yard out off a long pass from Madison Williams.

Carly Raunig put MSU up 3-1 at the 74:15 mark. She one-timed a corner kick that bounced around multiple times in the box before she knocked it in from four yards out.

Tulsa had a 17-9 lead in shots, including a 6-5 edge in shots on goal.
The Golden Hurricane had a 5-3 advantage in corner kicks.
Tatum Sanders logged all 90 minutes in goal and had two saves.
