Tulsa Women’s Soccer Hosts UTEP on Thursday

The Tulsa women's soccer team returns to action on Thursday, September 7 against UTEP beginning at 7:00 pm at the Hurricane Soccer Stadium.

Tickets are $5 general admission and can be purchased at the north ticket gate, online at TulsaHurricane.com/tickets or by calling the TU Athletic Ticket Office at 918.631.4688.

Fans unable to attend the home match in person can watch it live on TulsaHurricane.com for free.

Kayla Fernandez and Jordan Frederick both have one goal on the season, while Liz Campbell and Madison Williams both have one assist. Tatum Sanders, Raegan Beeding and Kylie Koeijmans have combined for 540 minutes in goal, 14 saves and 16 goals against for a 2.67 GAA.

UTEP has a 1-4-1 mark on the season with their lone win coming against Incarnate Word in their last contest. Taya Lopez, Emerson Kidd, Ashlyn Neireiter and Mina Rodriguez all have one goal on the season, while Lopez and Olivia Roskos both have one assist. Tionna Taylor has logged the majority of minutes in goal, picking up 30 saves for a 0.698 saves percentage and allowing 13 goals for a 2.23 GAA.

The series between Tulsa and UTEP is tied, 8-8-2, with the Miners earning a 1-0 win in the last meeting coming in 2013.
