Tulsa Softball Releases 2025 Schedule

TULSA, Okla. – The University of Tulsa softball team announced its 52-game 2025 season schedule Wednesday afternoon.
The Golden Hurricane schedule features 21 games at the Collins Family Softball Complex, including a matchup with four-time reigning champions Oklahoma on March 12, one of two times the Hurricane will take on the Sooners this season.
Tulsa will play four games against teams who qualified for last season's Women's College World Series, five against teams who played in a Super Regional and eight contests with teams who made the NCAA field.
The Hurricane opens the season with a pair of tournaments in the Lone Star State. Tulsa will play Texas A&M–Corpus Christi, Bryant twice, Sam Houston and Texas at the Bearkat Classic in Huntsville, starting Feb. 7. The following weekend, TU is in Beaumont on the campus of Lamar for the I-10 Border Classic, which starts Feb. 14. The Hurricane opens with Missouri State before facing Nicholls, Tennessee and Lamar. TU wraps up the weekend with a standalone game in Lake Charles, La. against McNeese.
On Feb. 21, the Golden Hurricane heads to Norman for the OU tournament. Tulsa will face Bowling Green twice and Abilene Christian before ending the weekend with a game against Oklahoma, making it three weekends in a row Tulsa will play a team who qualified at least a 2024 Super Regional.
Eight of the following nine games will take place in the Collins Family Softball Complex as Tulsa welcomes Kansas City for a game on the Feb. 28 before playing Drake in three straight contests. TU then will head to Stillwater to face Oklahoma State on March 2.
Tulsa opens its 2025 American Athletic Conference schedule with a home series against the Memphis Tigers (March 7-8). In the midweek, the Hurricane welcomes the Sooners to the Collins Family Softball Complex. That game will take place on Wednesday, March 12.
The Hurricane then goes on an extended road trip starting with a series in Greenville against East Carolina (March 14-16). After a midweek doubleheader against Western Carolina, Tulsa will face UAB in Birmingham the following weekend (21-23).
TU returns home to welcome Central Arkansas on the 26th of March before North Texas travels up for a conference series (March 28-30). The Hurricane opens April with a home series against Charlotte (April 4-6), who is coming off an NCAA tournament appearance.
The rest of the season, TU alternates home and away conference series, starting with South Florida in Tampa (April 11-13). Wichita State comes to town heading into the Easter Weekend with games set for Thursday, Friday and Saturday (April 17-19) instead of the usual routine.
The final roadtrip of the season begins in Springfield with a game against Missouri State on Tuesday, April 22, the second matchup with the Bears on the schedule after meeting in week two of the season. Tulsa then travels south for a series at UTSA (April 25-27), before its final road game of the season on April 30 at Kansas City.
The Hurricane closes the regular season with a home series another NCAA tournament team in Florida Atlantic. The final series will run May 2-4 with Tulsa celebrating its seniors on the final Sunday.
The American Athletic Conference tournament will begin on Wednesday, May 7 and run through Saturday, May 10 in Tampa on the campus of South Florida.
