Tulsa Golfers Finish Day Two of Patriot All-America Classic

LITCHFIELD PARK, Ariz. –– Tulsa golfer Jenni Roller moved into the top 30 after a two-under-par 68 in the second round of the 2024 Patriot All-America Classic at the Wigwam Golf Resort. Fellow Golden Hurricane Allyn Stephens shot a 73 and sits in a tie for 59th.
Both golfers were in the same group for Monday's round and started on the 10th tee. Roller shot two strokes under par in her first nine holes, with birdies on 11 and 12, a bogey on 13 and then a birdie on 18. In her back nine, which was the course's front, she rattled off five pars before a bogey on the par-4 sixth. After consecutive pars, Roller closed her day with a birdie on nine to get to two-under. She's one stroke over par for the Classic after shooting an opening day 73 and sits in a tie for 28th place.
Stephens finished her round with a 4-over-par 74. She shot a 73 the day before, putting her seven strokes over par for the week. She dropped back eight spots into a tie for 59th. She recorded a birdie on four, but five bogeys on the afternoon set the redshirt sophomore back.
Roller will start the final round from tee box one. Her group is scheduled to tee off at 10:10 (CT) in the morning. An hour later, Stephens will tee off from the 10th tee.
