
Golden Hurricane Head Coach Eric Konkol Announces Summer Basketball Camps

TULSA, Okla. — Aspiring basketball players will have an opportunity to learn from The University of Tulsa head coach Eric Konkol and the Golden Hurricane coaching staff and team at the 2024 Eric Konkol Basketball Camps this summer.
Five camps will take place this summer on the TU campus and ages will range from kindergarten through 12th grade depending on the camp. Camps include the Boys High School Team Camp (June 14 – 15), Boys High School Elite Camp (June 9), Boys Youth Day Camp I (June 10 – 13), Junior Golden Hurricane Camp I (July 15 – 18) and Junior Golden Hurricane Camp II (July 29 – August 1)
All Eric Konkol Basketball Camps will include a camp T-shirt.

The High School Team Camp is a two-day event that gives teams an opportunity to play games against other top teams in the region with certified officials.
The event runs June 14-15 for high school teams and costs $575 as a team for both days. There is a six-game guarantee.
The High School Elite Camp is for players entering Grades 9-12 and postgraduate, and it gives athletes the opportunity to play against other top players from the region while receiving coaching from the University of Tulsa basketball staff. The afternoon consists of skill work and competitive games.
The Elite Camp will take place on Sunday, June 9th from 1-5:30 p.m. and costs $80 per camper. Camp Is limited to the first 80 registered.
The Youth Day Camps, for boys entering second through 10th grade, are designed to help campers improve their basketball skills and develop their love for the game. These camps consist of daily skill instruction, contests, competitions and games.
The cost for either of the day camps is $295 per camper. Youth Day Camp will run June 10-13 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 in the afternoon. Lunch can be purchased daily.
Finally, the Junior Golden Hurricane Camp, designed for boys and girls entering kindergarten through seventh grade, will expose campers to the core elements of the game of basketball. Golden Hurricane staff and players use daily station work, contests and game play to assist in teaching the game to campers.
Junior Golden Hurricane Camp I from 9 a.m. to noon July 15-18, and Golden Hurricane Camp II will run from July 29 through August 1 at the same time. Each camp costs $185.
