Tulsa Golfers Travel to Norman for The Match Play at Jimmie Austin OU Golf Club

NORMAN, Okla. – The Tulsa women's golf team will be back in action at The Match Play at Jimmie Austin OU Golf Club, Monday-Tuesday, April 7-9. The course measures 6,448 yards and playas to a par 72.

The tournament consists of one round of stroke play on Monday morning at 8 a.m. followed by the first round of Match Play in the afternoon beginning at 1:30 p.m. The teams will be seeded 1-8 for Match Play based off the stroke play results.

There will be two rounds of Match Play on Tuesday with 8 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. tee times. The third round of Match Play will be singles.

The eight-team field includes Houston, Kansas State, North Texas, host Oklahoma. Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, Tulane and Tulsa.

Tulsa goes into The Match Play with juniors Lovisa Gunnar and Sydney Seigel, sophomores Grace Kilcrease and Jenni Roller and redshirt freshman Allyn Stephens. Gunnar is coming off her best performance of the season with a team-best ninth-place finish at The Bruzzy last week, while Stephens and Kilcrease lead the Golden Hurricane with stroke averages of 72.9 and 73.0, respectively.
