TULSA, Okla. – The Golden Hurricane softball team heads to Stillwater looking to sweep the season series against No. 5 Oklahoma State on Wednesday evening inside Cowgirl Stadium.

First pitch is set for 6 p.m. and will air on ESPN+. Casey Kendrick and Rachel Becker will call the action.

Tulsa (25-12, 10-5 AAC) took down Oklahoma State (33-6, 12-3 BIG XII) 3-0 on March 19 in the Collins Family Softball Complex to move to 23-35 against the Cowgirls all-time. Maura Moore tossed a complete game shutout for Tulsa's highest-ranked win since 2009. Imani Edwards tripled and Claira Skaggs doubled her home for what proved to be the winning run in the fourth. TU added a pair of insurance runs on an OSU error in the fifth.

The Hurricane enter the midweek game after taking two of three at Wichita State, including an emphatic 14-5 win in the Sunday finale to clinch the series. Four different Hurricane homered in the win, including a grand slam from Abby Jones.

Tulsa finished the week 4-1 after a run-rule win over Missouri State in the midweek. Kailyn Bearpaw earned a selection to The American Weekly Honor Roll for her performance over the four games. Bearpaw slashed .538/.538/1.000 with seven hits and six batted in. She posted two home runs and scored five times. Haley Morgan (.462), Edwards (.462) and Abby Jones (.444) each hit above .400 on the week. Skaggs led the team with seven RBI and also homered twice. In the circle, Alexa Hopkins picked up her first collegiate win on Wednesday against the Bears, while senior Kylee Nash came on in relief to get both wins against Wichita State.

On the season, the Hurricane is batting .325 after batting .404 a week ago. Edwards took the team lead in batting average (.408) and MacKenzie Denson (.402) is above the .400 line as well. Four other Tulsa players are hitting above .300 in Skaggs, Jones, Bearpaw and Morgan, while Maci Cole is batting .296.

Nash is team team's leader in posting a 2.32 ERA after picking up her team-best ninth win of the season. Anneca Anderson has allowed opponents to bat just .193 off her this season and Moore has struck out 74 batters, creating a balanced trio of TU pitchers.

Since its loss to the Hurricane, Oklahoma State has gone 9-2 with series wins over BYU and a top-10 Texas. The Cowgirls have won their past five games, which includes a sweep of Houston over the weekend where OSU outscored the Cougars 24-3.

Caroline Wang is the reigning Louisville Slugger/NFCA Player of the Week and Big XII Player of the Week after batting .778 last weekend with four home runs and 10 RBI. She leads the OSU offense with a .387 batting average, one of six Cowgirls batting above .300. Her 10 doubles leads the team, and her 15 home runs is tied for first in the conference.

In the circle, Lexi Kilfoyl has posted a 15-2 record with an 0.84 ERA and 0.73 WHIP in 23 appearances. She's struck out 86 and held opposing batters to a 1.60 batting average. Despite throwing the most innings, she has walked the fewest batters (17).

After the rematch with the Cowgirls, the Golden Hurricane will host East Carolina in a weekend conference series. The three-game series will get underway on Friday at 5 p.m. in the Collins Family Softball Complex. All three games will air on ESPN+.
