TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa women's basketball program has added three transfers to next season's roster, announced by Head Coach Angie Nelp.
TCU transfers Paige Bradley and Jade Clack, alongside Creighton guard McKayla Miller, join a 2024-25 squad that now features six new additions, including Houston twins Brooklyn and Kennedi Alexander and Whitney Sullivan of Orangeville, Ill.
Bradley, a 5-10 guard from Dallas, Texas, comes to Tulsa as a redshirt junior after three seasons with the TCU Horned Frogs and will have two years of eligibility after missing all of last year for injury. A four-star athlete, Bradley played for Bishop Lynch High School in Dallas and was the No. 7 player out of Texas in 2021 ESPN HoopGurlz rankings while earning an ESPN top-75 ranking and an ELITE Top-60 ranking. She was a two-time TAPPS State Champion in her sophomore (2019) and senior (2021) seasons, averaging 15 points, nine rebounds and five assists in her final campaign with the Friars.
In her two years of action at TCU, Bradley averaged 2.6 points (118) and 0.9 rebounds (43) in 11 starts across 46 games played for the Horned Frogs. In her sophomore season, she appeared in 27 games and made 11 starts, all against Big 12 opponents, including both of TCU's games in the 2023 Big 12 Championship. As a freshman, she saw action in 19 games, averaging 6.6 minutes per contest.
At the club level, Bradley competed for SA Finest.
"We are so excited to add Paige to our Hurricane family. Paige is a winner, represents our culture and brings instant leadership to our team. On the court, she has elite knowledge and a great feel for the game. As a lead guard, her ability to shoot the ball at a high level falls right in line with our style of play," said Nelp.
A 6-1 forward from Buda, Texas, Clack joins the Hurricane as a sophomore with three years of eligibility remaining. At the high school level, Clack played four varsity seasons at Austin High School for her mother and head coach, Emerald Amen. She recorded a double-double nearly every game, averaging 16 points and 10 boards while dishing out five assists. A four-star recruit and a 2023 McDonald's All-American with an ESPN Top-100 ranking, Clack finished her career with the Maroons with over 1,500 points and 500 rebounds to go with consecutive District MVP awards.
Clack played in 13 games as a true freshman for TCU in 2023-24, averaging 5.5 minutes per game, scoring 11 points and bringing down 11 rebounds. Clack set season-highs of six points and three rebounds in 13 minutes against West Virginia on Feb. 13. She played a career-high 16 minutes against Oklahoma and also logged double digit minute tallies against Texas Tech and Texas.
In club action, Clack has starred for SA Finest.
"We are thrilled to have Jade join our Hurricane family," said Nelp. "She is a dynamic player that brings size and athleticism to the game. Her versatility fits our style of play on both the offensive and defensive ends of the floor. She can score at different levels, guard multiple positions, and brings great energy to the game."
Miller, a 6-1 guard from Cimarron, Kan., will enter the 2024-25 season as a sophomore with three seasons of eligibility. Miller was a four-star recruit with an ELITE Top 150 ranking. She was a four-year letterwinner at Cimarron High School, where she led her Bluejay teams to a 66-25 combined record and earned three All-Great West Activities Conference awards, two first-team all-state selections and two nominations for 3A Player of the Year. As a senior, she averaged a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds per contest while adding five assists per game to become the No. 2-ranked player in the state of Kansas.
A multi-sport athlete in volleyball (two years), softball (one year) and track and field (one year), Miller closed her high school career with over 1,400 points and 700 rebounds and was named class valedictorian.
At the club level, Miller played for SSA-Gameball Elite.
Miller appeared in 20 games for Creighton as a true freshman in 2023-24. In 6.1 minutes per game, she scored at a 2.3 clip (45 points) and grabbed 1.0 rebounds (20 rebounds). While on the court, Miller shot .424 (14-33) from the field, .273 (3-11) from three-point range and .933 (14-15) from the charity stripe.
"McKayla is a player who fits our program to a tee," said Nelp. "She brings great versatility to the court with her skill, size, and potent scoring ability. Moreover, she is a fierce competitor and has high character, making her a great addition to our team. We are excited to add her to our Hurricane family."
