TULSA, Okla. — Director of Tennis and Men's Tennis Head Coach Vince Westbrook has announced the addition of Luis Felipe Miguel (Liberty) and Bryce Ware (Kansas Wesleyan) to next season's roster.

Miguel, an incoming junior, and Ware, a graduate student, will join a 2024-25 men's squad that now features five new additions, including junior transfer Reiya Komagata (Cowley College), true freshman Adam Bojkovic (Randolph, N.J.) and true freshman Connor Doig (Johannesburg, South Africa).

"Both guys are very experienced collegiate players," said Westbrook. "We're very excited about their leadership abilities, their professional mentality, and they fit the TU culture perfectly."

Miguel had an all-conference-caliber sophomore campaign for the Flames in 2023-24. He went 15-8 in dual-match singles play, starring primarily in the No. 2 slot with a 12-6 record. With a combined 23-13 record with his fall matches, Miguel was named Conference-USA Singles First Team after earning 2023 ASUN All-Conference Singles Third Team and All-Freshman Team honors a year ago.

In doubles, Miguel led the Flames with 18 wins, finishing 18-10 overall and 13-8 across all three lines in dual-match action.

"Luis showed his caliber playing at the top of the lineup for Liberty. We were very impressed with his junior playing resume as well as how he represented Liberty at the college level," said Westbrook.

Ware capped off a sensational 2024 spring season for the Coyotes as one of the most decorated KWU men's tennis athletes of all time with a 121-30 career record. He achieved NAIA All-America status, College Sports Communicators Academic All-America honors and KCAC Player of the Year honors for the second year in a row. An ITA All-American in 2024, he was the recipient of the ITA Arthur Ashe Jr. Leadership and Sportsmanship Award.

"I'm really excited and proud of how Bryce competed in the NAIA. I'm confident he's going to be a great addition to TU and the Golden Hurricane culture."
