IRVING, Texas — The American Athletic Conference announced the 2024-25 women's basketball pairings for the 18-game league schedule, spanning Dec. 29, 2024, through March 4, 2025. The conference championship (March 8-12) will be once again hosted at the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.

Of the Golden Hurricane's 12 American opponents, Tulsa will face six teams twice – once at home and once on the road – and take on the remaining six conference foes once in three home games and three away contests.

Tulsa plays home-and-home games against Charlotte, East Carolina, Memphis, North Texas, UTSA and Wichita State this upcoming season. TU will also host Florida Atlantic, South Florida and Tulane while traveling for games at Rice, Temple and UAB.

Head Coach Angie Nelp enters her fourth season at the helm fresh off a six-year contract extension following an historic season in 2023-24 where the Hurricane reached the WBIT quarterfinals, finished 25-10 overall with a 13-5 league mark for the regular season conference title and saw two players reach All-America status.

Tulsa returns three starters, including sophomore guard Mady Cartwright, junior guard/forward Hadley Periman and WBCA All-American Delanie Crawford, a senior. Overall, the Hurricane will return six players - 49.2 percent of minutes played and 45.7 percent of points scored – from a year ago and welcomes seven newcomers to this season's squad.

The full conference schedule will be released in September.
