Sechser Finishes Sixth in Olympic Lightweight Double Sculls

PARIS, France — University of Tulsa rowing alumna Michelle Sechser and her teammate Molly Reckford finished sixth for the United States in the Lightweight Women's Double Sculls Final at the 2024 Paris Olympics Friday. Alumna Jennifer Casson and her teammate, Jill Moffatt, were 8th overall in the event and represented Canada.
 
Sechser and Reckford turned in a time of 6:55.60 in the 'A' Final, which was won by the duo from Great Britain in 6:47.06.
 
Casson and Moffatt recorded a time of 7:04.82 in the 'B' Final, trailing flight-winning France by just under two seconds.
