Tulsa Men’s Soccer Set for Home Opener with Louisville

TULSA, Okla. –– The University of Tulsa men's soccer team will play in front of its home fans for the first time this season when TU hosts No. 24 Louisville on Wednesday evening in the Hurricane Soccer Stadium.
Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. and the match will air on ESPN+.
Fans unable to attend the action in person can subscribe to ESPN+ to watch select Golden Hurricane soccer, football, tennis, volleyball, soccer, softball and basketball games. Tulsa (0-1-0) seeks its first win against the Cardinals (1-0-0), coming up short in two prior meetings. The teams faced off in Louisville, Ky. A 74th minute goal for the hosts was the separator in a 1-0 Tulsa loss.
The Hurricane started its season on the road in Las Vegas, coming up short 2-0 to UNLV on Thursday. The Rebels scored a pair of second half goals within minutes of each other, keeping TU off the board for the 90 minutes. Senior goalkeeper Alex Lopez made three saves in the contest and was beaten on two shots he could do nothing about.
The Cardinals started its season with a 2-0 win at home over Jacksonville. Goals from Josh Janes and Gage Guerra lifted Louisville to victory. Harvey Sellers record a clean sheet in his first match for the Cardinals.
After Wednesday's matchup, Tulsa will continue the homestand with a match against Cal Poly on Sunday evening. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. on ESPN+ as part of a Sunday doubleheader with women's soccer. The TU women host Arkansas-Pine Bluff at 3 p.m. in the Hurricane Soccer Stadium.
